About the event
A surprising, photosensitive, slow, handcrafted, environmentally friendly experience that blends art and science. A journey to enjoy, where various photographic techniques are combined: analog in image capture and digital in printing.
You will learn how to capture and develop, without the need for a chemical darkroom, the traces of the sun’s apparent path day after day in a single photograph. This magically reveals a beautiful hidden scene that the human eye cannot perceive or retain on its own, with a pictorial and dreamlike landscape appearance. Using discarded objects, you will build and load your own pinhole camera, the special analog “LataCam” designed for solarigraphy, which you’ll take home ready to create your first solar landscapes.
