FEM FANZINES, with Can Grapes

This workshop is designed to create your first zine mock-up. We will bring plenty of zine references, discuss language, sequencing, and page layout. Step by step, with your photographs, you’ll be able to make your first zine.

If you have a project in progress, you can bring the material to work on it during the workshop. You can select images around a specific theme from your own archive. You can work with photographs that aren’t yours. You can do whatever you want. However, it will be important to have a common thread, a theme, or a motive that serves as a guide to construct our zine. We’ll also do a brief introduction to InDesign as a digital tool for layout and printing.

Please bring photographs, drawings, texts, cutouts, or a mix of these. Bring between 10 and 20 printed elements to work with during the workshop.
