About the event

Memory and photography share similar characteristics: both feel like truth, yet neither tells the whole story. Just as a memory degrades each time it is recalled, a photograph drifts further away from reality with every reproduction.

[Im]printing Memory brings together three artists, Andy Mattern, Séverine Chauveau and Caroline Roberts, who use alternative and historic photographic processes to blur the line between past and present, between the real and the imagined. Through abstract imagery and vintage archival material, they construct visual memories and invite the public to form their own.

This exhibition is possible thanks to the participation of these artists in the Horizontal Portfolio Review 2025, held as part of the Experimental Photo Festival 2025, a space for encounter and dialogue that fosters new collaborations and exhibition opportunities.

Join us on March 7 for the opening reception from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

The exhibition can be visited by appointment until April 19.
