About the event

Discover the art of cyanotype, a handcrafted photographic printing technique that combines history and creativity, creating images in deep blue tones of unique beauty. The Zebra Cultural Space invites you to a special cyanotype workshop with artist and photographer Gal Wachs, who will share his knowledge and experience in this alternative printing process, which involves applying a light-sensitive solution to paper or fabric and exposing it to sunlight.

This workshop will allow you to learn from scratch this ancient photographic technique from the 19th century, exploring every step of the process: from preparing materials, creating negatives, and exposing to ultraviolet light, to the final development. Gal Wachs will guide you to experiment and create your own compositions, exploring textures, patterns, and unique effects that only cyanotype can offer.
