About the workshop
Image Transfers is a craft technique that originated in the Middle Ages and has been refined over the years, sometimes known as Decoupage. It involves transferring photographs or image cutouts onto objects made from various materials (such as tiles, porcelain, paving stones, rubble, stones, fabrics, metals, mirrors, glass, or wood). By using a transfer gel, an image, and a support surface, you can merge the image with your surface to create results that express something creatively new and different. This workshop is aimed at those who wish to explore and learn a manual and artisanal technique, without using traditional photographic chemicals, negatives, or a darkroom.
