Alexandra is a professional studio photographer based in Leipzig, Germany. Since 2017, she has been capturing the essence of people in artistic interaction, focusing on analog photography to embrace the beauty of imperfection—the exact opposite of her usual work.

She works intuitively, on the edge of the subconscious. Her artistic journey is deeply influenced by the experimental dance community, from which she draws inspiration from nonverbal expression, absurdity, and the breaking of norms. This connection ultimately led her to experimental photography, allowing her to effectively merge that spirit.

Before diving into new ventures, I always seek a comprehensive overview to truly spark my interest in learning. Agora’s extensive resources and culture of sharing provide just that - in the field of experimental photography. While I’ve only begun to scratch the surface, my experience in the Agora Diploma Course has already led to remarkable results, opening up new layers and dimensions in my photographic work.

Werden und vergehen speaks of the identity of the human being as a part of nature, captured in a geopolitical and sociopolitical framework. It is an identity between ritual and oblivion, between becoming and disappearance.
